ARA-Authentic app for iPhone and iPad

This App enables the fast verification of originality of any product which is equipped with the Ara Authentic® coating or label. The Ara Authentic® surface shows two colors with very high brilliance on each spot – depending on the illumination. The high security level is given due to a very specific combination of micro- and nanoscaled features.
The App works like an optical scanner:
First the blue color in the center of the display is scanned. Only in case that the correct blue color is detected a second scan – now with flashlight – is done from the same surface area, which appears yellow when flashlight is on. The scanned values of the blue color and those of the yellow color are compared internally with a standard reference. Only in case of a certain minimum difference between the “blue” and the “yellow” values the originality of the Ara Authentic® surface is proven. Tests on every other surface will give a negative result.
